Blue is an easy color to use and goes with pretty much everything. It works well with so many colors that it could really be considered a neutral. Read on to see 5 color palettes for weddings you will love!
French Blue and Sage Green
This blue color palette for weddings is probably what I would call the most user-friendly. Why? It offers up a light to medium blue color combined with the perfect earthy green. It works really well with wedding greenery and pale florals. If you prefer to keep it simple and elegant, limit your color palette to what you see here. Want to add more color? A really pretty option is to accent with flowers in white, blush, peaches and other muted colors that will look amazing when added to your wedding color palette.
Our Elegant Calligraphy Wedding Invitation, shown here, features a lovely modern calligraphy font in sage green. The simple design is for lovers of a classically designed wedding invitation and includes a modern hand-drawn floral design used as an accent. The envelopes are a pretty French Blue with matching envelope liners.
Navy Blue and Blush
A classic blue color palette for a wedding would include navy blue. This deep blue color mixes well with blush pink and deep reds like burgundy and marsala. Here, we’re combining it with both a blush and coral pink in the wedding invitation. The two paler colors help to ground the palette. For the tables, think about adding a few burgundy and gold accents to create a pretty contrast to the overall look.
Our Navy and Blush Floral Wedding Invitation features pretty watercolor florals on the envelope liner. A white ink printed French-inspired scroll design is a pretty accent on the small envelope liner and invitation. This suite combines a classic design with modern watercolor accents that are ultra feminine.
Tile Blue
This blue is reminiscent of Spanish or Portuguese tiles and works so so well with a bright color palette. Here we’ve used it in the invitation suite, glassware and china. It’s a nice contrast to the otherwise bright and Summery color palette of persimmon and fuchsia. Don’t be afraid to mix it up. If you still want to add a bright element to your invitation suite, opt for a brightly colored ribbon, envelope or wrap.
Our Blue Spanish Roses Wedding Invitation features a modern floral design of hand-drawn roses and a pretty calligraphy typeface. The optional envelope liners feature a tile pattern for the invitation envelope while the RSVP envelope liner features a matching rose design.
Slate Blue and Blush
A darker version of dusty blue, slate blue is a little more casual than navy blue. It looks stunning with really, any pink. Blue and pink are classic wedding colors by themselves. When combined, they are even better in this pretty, Summer wedding color palette.
Our Slate Blue and Blush Wedding Invitation features a white ink floral design printed on slate blue cover stock. The reply card and envelope liners are linen white with a matching slate blue printed design. The envelopes are the prettiest, palest pink blush you ever did see.
Dusty Blue
Sometimes called powder blue, dusty blue, has been increasing in popularity for weddings over the past several years. Here, we are taking tonal versions of the color and mixing it together to create a beautiful impact. The result is a really elegant display for a wedding color palette. It’s perfect for late Summer weddings just before the leaves start to change on trees, and wedding color palettes shift to reds and oranges.
Our Blue Watercolor Roses Wedding Invitation mixes pretty watercolor flowers with a modern calligraphy typeface. The florals are painted in a loose style and are included on all of the enclosures. The optional envelope liner features a monogram and the same watercolor florals as the invitation.
