Gold and blush wedding inspiration takes center stage in this gorgeous shoot at The Wright House in Mesa, Arizona. Elegant details set in the Garden Ballroom area of the venue really complement the overall feel of the romantic theme. This venue is a must if you are looking for elegant scenery with character. Mature trees, barefoot-friendly lawns and colorful flower beds are just a few of the details that really set The Wright House apart from other wedding venues in the area. I absolutely love this venue and have attended a handful of shoots here. The outdoor spaces are so lush and full of green, you may forget you’re in Arizona.
THE COLOR PALETTE:
Gold and Blush is an infinitely feminine and classic wedding color palette and you’ll want your wedding day details to include a pale complementary base color like ivory. I call base colors like these the “foundation” for the design. They keep the color palette from being too overwhelming and over-used. For example, this beautiful wedding cake with fault line detail at the top. The irregular edge feature of the cake is accented by just enough gold shimmer and the ivory colored rose is the perfect contrasting accent which helps to round out the color palette. The rest of the cake is a pretty tonal blush and includes more accents of gold.
Throughout the details you can see the gold and blush color palette was used thoughtfully and tastefully. The Allison semi-custom wedding invitation suite features blush and ivory watercolor roses with a hand-applied gold leaf detail. The tablescape displays gold flatware, candlesticks and mercury glass votives which are complemented beautifully by the ivory table linens and dinnerware. Gold Chiavari chairs frame the outer edge of the table and invite guests to sit down and enjoy. Dessert is served with shimmering gold and blush cake pops!
